Biography

A native of Columbus, Ohio, Scott Douglas Wilson is an award-winning actor, writer, teacher and director. Currently based in South Florida, he has lived & worked professionally in New York City, Boston, Ft. Lauderdale and Miami. In 2009, he graduated with an M.F.A. in Acting from the Ohio State University, and holds a B.F.A. in Acting from Otterbein College. Scott has performed with several national touring companies, appeared in the award-winning film Glass City (Best Actor, 2009 Naperville Independent Film Festival), founded the NYC-based sketch comedy troupe, the Scallywags, and co-founded the Columbus-based Whistling in the Dark Theatre Co. Since arriving in South Florida, Scott has worked as an actor and educator with numerous theatre companies and serves on the faculty of the Acting School of South Florida and New World School of the Arts.
